Travel Medicine Consultation Appointments

Have you recently booked a vacation? Are you planning to travel soon? A travel consultation at the Pucci's Pharmacy Travel Medicine Clinic offers a dedicated time to prepare you for the health concerns that might arise during your trip.

During a travel consultation, you will work with a pharmacist provider who has an in-depth knowledge of immunizations, risks associated with specific destinations, and the implications of traveling with underlying conditions. After consultation, our pharmacists are able to provide you with vaccinations and medications necessary for travel including but not limited to:

Altitude Sickness

Malaria Prevention

Motion Sickness

Traveler's Diarrhea

Vaccines

COVID

Flu
Hepatitis A

Hepatitis B

Human Papillomavirus (HPV)

Japanese Encephalitis

Meningococcal

MMR (measles)

Pneumonia

Polio

Rabies

TDaP (tetanus)

Typhoid

Varicella (chickenpox)
Yellow Fever

Zoster (shingles)

The pharmacist will issue prescriptions for vaccines and preventative medications after completion of a Travel Consultation appointment. We recommend to schedule your initial Travel Consultation AT LEAST 30 days prior to your scheduled departure in order to allow adequate time to receive all recommended vaccines and allow them time to provide their full protective benefit.

If you have an International Certificate of Vaccination (yellow card), please bring this to your appointment.

Some insurance plans may not cover the cost of all therapies recommended for your travel. You will be given the option to self-pay when insurance coverage is denied.
