We also understand that getting your prescriptions filled should be fast and easy. As such, we always aim to have your prescription filled and ready within minutes so that we can complete our consultation in a timely manner and get you on your way.

Dr. Clint Hopkins

PharmD, Owner

Clint Hopkins received his PharmD from the University of Tennessee in 2007. Originally from Kentucky, he and Joel moved to Sacramento from Texas in 2016 to purchase the pharmacy from Tom Nelson. He is thrilled to be in a community pharmacy setting where he can connect with the patients he cares for. When not working at Pucci’s, he and Joel enjoy traveling, cycling, and spending time with friends as well as their dogs Allie & Ella and Chloe the cat who are all now happy Californians.

Allie Hopkins-Hockman

Pharmacy Support

Allie provides emotional support to pharmacy visitors and staff as well as security for the front door should any runners or bicyclists like to pass by. She loves lots of attention and will let you know when she needs more. Barking at squirrels is also a passion.

We are sad to report that Allie passed away August 26, 2025 at home surrounded by us and her cat Chloe. Allie achieved something not many of her breed reach. 18yrs. 2mo. and 13 days. She absolutely loved coming to work everyday as it gave her a purpose. She loved greeting customers and comforting children when they came in for vaccinations. We miss her terribly.

Joel Hockman

Owner

In 2014 Joel, along with his husband Clint, decided that they wanted to invest in a community pharmacy. After an exhaustive 2-year search that took them all across the country they found Pucci’s and from their first visit knew this was the place they wanted to be. When not working on the business Joel and Clint enjoy traveling, cycling, and spending time with friends as well as their dogs Allie & Ella and Chloe the cat who are all now happy Californians.

Ella Hopkins-Hockman

Pharmacy Support

Ella is an introspective who loves to snuggle and assume that everyone knows she is a lap dog despite her 50 lbs. She too likes to patrol the front door and enjoys giving squirrels a hard time. She is very loyal and is always excited to see someone new.

We are sad to report that Ella battled heart disease for the last year and a half of her life and lost her battle November 8, 2020. She will always have an indelible presence at the store as she loved being there and receiving lots of attention from visitors. She is forever etched in our hearts and memories.
